2nd December, 2004
Broadway Cinema, Nottingham
With Reactor taking the helm, Trampoline bounced back with a one-off extravaganza, bringing together work from artists setting new standards in the combination of media, art and technology.
The night kicked off with I Love Trampoline: a compilation of the best short films and videos screened throughout Trampoline's seven year history. Re-living the ‘good old days’ of new media art this screening featured commentary from the talking heads of the Nottingham art scene taking the audience on a trip down digital memory lane.
As the audience had a drink, sat back and relaxed the main event took place in the informal atmosphere of the Broadway Café Bar. Hosted by The Reactor (shit) Bear, the evening consisted of a series of sonic and visual performances, brought together to provide a much overdue dose of pure entertainment.
The evening concluded
with A Sight for Square Bears: a collection of the latest
cream of the audio-visual crop. This showreel presented the best screen based
work from artists taking new media in new directions.
